Below one permanent project an in-house developer costs more than the salary suggests, because you also pay for the months with nothing to build. An external team wins while the work comes in bursts. The switch happens once you own software that has to stay running every day.
What the decision turns on
01How many months a year there is genuinely something to build
02Whether anyone on your side can direct a developer
03How fast you need to swap a technology or a skill
04What happens the day that one person resigns
Side by side

When an external team is the right call
Work arrives in bursts. One system in spring, then six quiet months of maintenance.
You need skills that do not fit in one person. Design, engineering, security, and getting it into production safely.
You do not yet know whether the project continues and you would rather not sign an employment contract on it.
When we will tell you to hire instead
The software is your product rather than support for it. Then it should not live outside your company.
You have full-time work twelve months a year and somebody who can direct it.
Response measured in hours matters to you more than breadth of skill.
How we do the arithmetic
External engineering with us is 45 €/h + VAT and you pay only for hours worked.
With a hire, salary is not the number. Add levies, hardware, licences, holiday, and the months when there is nothing to build.
We are a team of people who take a project from start to finish together. We are not a body shop and cannot field ten developers next month.
What buyers ask us
Can we start external and move in-house later?
Yes, and it is the common path. That is why the repository, documentation, and access move to you continuously instead of at the end. Your first hire then joins a working project rather than a blank page.
How do we know you will not leave us stranded?
The code and the access are yours from day one, and we build on technology any ordinary developer in Slovakia already knows. Leaving us does not cost you a rewrite.
